I tried this with my Nikon D3 and a 24-120 Nikkor. While it did fit this quite large camera (it had removable foam spacers to accommodate different sizes) the finger stalls for focusing were just too awkward for me, rendering it useless. Had they been more flexible I might have risked actually putting it in the water, but instead I returned it.
Pity.

Perfect for what I wanted. Keeps the camera safe from water(just be careful when you unpack it cause water will fall in). I read it was difficult to change settings when it is in the bag, but I didn’t have too much difficultly doing that. I tested it out like the instructions said with a paper towel in the bag and submerged and it came out clean. A nice waterproof case on budget.

I used this “waterproof” camera bag two times. Prior to use, we tested it exactly as recommended (it passed) and were very careful to follow instructions with it. It held up fine for the first use on a family trip to the beach, and was even taken a few times into the water. But on the second trip out with it, simply to a pool, where it was never taken under the water’s surface: It leaked. My brand new Canon Digital Rebel T1i (had less than a month) with one of my favorite lenses on it, and SDHC card, all ruined at a cost to me of $1,115. Boy, I regret buying this product. It will be a long time before I am able to replace all that, and the camera was brand new.

I really wanted to like this but unfortunily i dont. i cant use my focus ring and its huge. maybe good to take to the beach but instead I went out and bought a olympus waterproof point and shoot. which worked just fine.

I bought dicapac under the influence of my friend, if it was up to me, i’d never buy it, thinking what good can come from a housing this cheap? nevertheless, i decided to try, and when i got the package i was surprised, because i was expecting something less reliable. we tried it out many times during the end of the summer, and had no problem with it – only good photos. the only problem that comes to mind, is its really hard to fiddle with controls in the water, -not impossible, but takes time. and you’d have to take really good care of it, which goes for everything you emerge in salt water, like goggles, etc.
