    Needed a laser pointer to point at screens of my staff (for teaching). Wanted one that ran on single AA or double AAA batteries. While this fit the bill perfectly for the former, i recommend a weaker laser for this purpose. However as product goes, it does exactly as promised. Hopefully there is no drop off with time, although in my case i would welcome it, as the green dot on a white lcd screen from 500mm away is annoyingly bright.

    DO NOT BUY THIS POINTER. The item fails within a few days and the the seller will not answer your inquiries.

    At first I thought the batteries would die quickly because all of the other reviews said they did, but it turns out it was great! At night it produces a clearly visible beam and is great for pointing at stars and constellations. I strongly recommend this product
